🌸 How to Plant Your Rogue Stems Seedlings (and Feel Like a Garden Goddess by Spring)

So you got your hands on one of our seedling packs — 30 glorious little flower babies just waiting to grow up and glow up in your garden.  First of all: excellent choice. These seedlings are your ticket to homegrown spring blooms with just the right amount of chaos and charm.

Whether you're a seasoned petal pusher or you’ve never planted anything besides regret, this guide is for you.

What You Got: Inside your seedling pack:

Inside your seedling pack:
  • Ranunculus (rom-com energy in flower form)
  • Snapdragons (a little sassy, a lot cute)
  • Feverfew (like tiny daisies that know stuff)
  • Campanula (bells that ring in spring)
  • Everlasting Flowers (they dry beautifully = forever flowers)
  • Larkspur (tall, airy drama)
  • Statice (textured perfection)
  • Scabiosa (aka pincushion — yes, she’s a weird one)
  • Sweet William (cottagecore crush)

You’ll get 30 total seedlings ready to go.

Seedling packs may vary slightly depending on availability — but rest assured, they’ll all be gorgeous.

🧤 Let’s Get Planting: Simple Steps for Success

1. Pick Your Spot

Find a spot with:

  • Full sun (at least 6 hours a day — they love a tan)
  • Well-drained soil (no swamp zones please)
  • Somewhere you’ll remember to water

Containers or garden beds both work — just give them space to grow and shine.

2. Prep the Soil

  • Loosen it up with a fork or trowel
  • Add compost if you’ve got it (they’re not picky, but they love a snack)
  • Rake it smooth and whisper something encouraging to it

3. Plant Like a Pro (Even if You’re Not)

  • Dig a small hole a bit bigger than the root ball or bag
  • If your seedling is in a biodegradable bag, just pop the whole thing straight into the soil — no need to remove it
  • If it’s in a tray or pot, tip it out gently by loosening the soil and holding it by the base of the plant (not the leaves or the stem — they’re sensitive, like us during Mercury retrograde)
  • Nestle it in, firm the soil around it with your hands
  • Space them about a hand-width apart
  • Water them in well — like “rainstorm,” not “sprinkle”

That’s it. You just planted future beauty.

4. Keep Them Happy

  • Water regularly (especially if it doesn’t rain)
  • Mulch if you want to help retain moisture + block weeds
  • Talk to them. (Optional. But encouraged.)

They’ll grow through winter, settle in, and then — come spring — BOOM. Your garden will be popping off with color, texture, and serious “I grew this” bragging rights.

Why Planting Rogue Stem Seedlings Is So Worth It:

  • Spring blooms without the panic planting
  • Flowers you can cut, gift, dry, or just admire like a proud plant parent
  • A little rogue joy every time you walk outside

Final Tips for Rookie Gardeners:

  • Don’t overthink it — these plants are tougher than they look
  • If one doesn’t make it, shrug and keep going
  • Flowers are forgiving (and so are we)
